Vincent Willem van Gogh (30 March 1853 – 29 July 1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist artist.
His paintings and drawings include some of the world's best known, most popular and most expensive pieces.
Born in Groot-Zundert in Netherlands his father was a pastor, so he grew up in a religious and cultured atmosphere. He has two brothers and three sisters.
After he worked unsecsessfuly as a clerk in a bookstore, an art salesman, and a preacher in Belgium he studied art in the same country.
He had two unlucky romances.
He was very emotional and sensible and so his pictures were very dark and just after he met Pissarro Monet an Gauguin he lighten his palette of colours
He cut up his ear lope and in may 1890 he shot himself
The name of the painting is "The Harvest", which was drawn in June of 1888 by Vincent van Gogh
It was one of the lighten paintings from him.
The picture show us some fields in the provence and people , who harvest corn.
